Abstract: Dr. Naples is a cognitive neuroscientist at the Yale Child Study Center whose research focuses on the mechanisms underlying symptoms in autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions. He will discuss results from large-scale studies evaluating electroencephalographic and eye-tracking biomarkers for social and communicative function in autism, efforts to develop multimodal biomarkers of auditory sensitivities, and recent findings from molecular imaging studies of synaptic density and excitatory receptors.
